Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) Describe leadership policies towards student moral development, 2) Describe the implementation of teacher guidance in carrying out student morals, 3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in moral development, 4) Describing the success of teachers in developing student morals . This research was conducted by Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kupang. This research was conducted with a descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the leadership's policies towards the moral development of students at MTs. Negeri Kupang is by making school regulations that support the development of student morals, the implementation of teacher guidance in developing student morals can be seen from the combination of Islamic religious learning with the delivery of subject matter related to morals and extra-curricular activities, the supporting factor for developing student morals is the existence of regulations. madrasah regarding the obligations of students to take part in extra-curricular activities that have been determined by the schedule, the existence of a madrasah leadership policy program that is related to the creation of school conditions that have a nuance of friendliness, there are inhibiting factors for the development of student morals, namely internal and external factors and the success of student moral development can be said to be lacking maximum because the indicator of success is the same as the change in the character of students for the better.
